Launched in October 2010, The Grand Social has earned itself a glowing reputation as a great live music venue for both performer and punter alike. The venue has gone from strength to strength, with a commitment to professionally staging a marvellous mixture of musical styles and live performances from all strands of the cultural spectrum in one of the best looking and sounding rooms in the country.

 

Situated at the foot of Dublin's iconic Ha'penny Bridge, the venue has 3 event spaces that also cater for a wide range of activities such as screenings, talks, comedy, quizzes, corporate launches and wrap parties, while its premium venue - The Loft -  has hosted many memorable shows from artists such as Primal Scream, Madeleine Peyroux,

Kevin Rowland, Michael Kiwanuka. Ghostpoet, Kate Tempest, Django Django and big names DJ's Duke Dumont,

Nicky Siano and Klangarussell. 

 

Regarded nationally as being one of the best sounding venues in town, The Loft also offers its patrons and promoters a room with a different look and feel to any other in the city. Add into the mix the spacious rooftop beer garden adjacent to the performance space and it’s not hard to see why our venue was voted IMRO Dublin Venue of the Year in 2012, and nominated for National Venue of the Year 4 years running.
